VICTOR VENTURA has decided to throw in the towel after an especially discouraging day where he has been turned down (again) in an audition, had his motorbike stolen and been fired from his job. VICTOR is packing his bags when his agent, ANGELA, turns up with the news that an American director is interested in him for the lead in a film that is to be made in Spain with the famous Hollywood actress DEBRA REYNOLDS Angela tells him that she thinks that maybe he is not leaving because of the money but because he hasn’t got enough faith in himself. At the last minute Victor gives in and decides to give himself three more weeks to see what happens. To survive, the only job he can find is with an erotic telephone service
