Martin has decided to commit suicide. Just as he is about to jump off a bridge an individual named Salva tries to stop him. He offers him a deal: if he has decided to kill himself, why not put it off a couple of weeks? He will put him in contact with some moneylenders who will loan him a million dollars. He can then live it up for a while and go out in style. Martin thinks about it and decides, why not? The loan sharks give him the loan just as Salva said they would and Martin starts out to live it up royally. At one of the parties, he meets and falls madly in love with Lola, a waitress with ideas of her own.
