For CARLOTA there is only one reason to live: being in love. Because of that she is starting to suffer from anxiety. She desperately needs a man to fill her life, the man of her dreams, the NUMBER ONE. Carlota is an ambulance driver and one night she comes across a guy who is suffering from serious indigestion after eating too many hardboiled eggs. She immediately decides that this is the man for her, her true NUMBER ONE. He is delicate, evasive, mysterious and little smart-mouthed. "Nada en la nevera" is a story of lack of affection in the age of email, neurosis, misunderstandings, and thirty year old adolescents with hearts just as empty as their refrigerators.
