A well-known police inspector is faced with the most unsettling case of his career. The disappearance of an important businessman is hiding a mystery much bigger than he is prepared to accept. He soon discovers that all the people who in their day disappeared without a trace are hiding terrible secrets involving something that happened in their past. The inspector finds himself face to face with a world long-forgotten; a world filled with dark shadows and beings that manipulate us... and watch us. This other world exists and threatens us. It’s there. You just have to discover it. The inspector crosses the line that separates the tangible from the impossible and enters into a nightmare in which his will is broken and his childhood terrors take on special meanings.
