Arturo (Juanjo Puigcorbé) is the owner of the Camelot Restaurant. His wife Paz (Maria Barranco) is a submissive woman and her son Arturito (Juan Diego Botto) of whom she is very proud and who has been chosen for the Sidney Olympics. But Arturo is leading a double life. Every Friday he spends a passionate night with his kitchen assistant and lover Cristal (Candela Peña) who is also the daughter of his best friend the policeman Jose (Karra Elejalde). Everything is going along perfectly for Arturo until one day things get complicated. A minor matrimonial upset, an unkept promise and a new love for Cristal: Arturito. Arturo suffers something terrible attempting to get back his lover; the courtship war has just begun.
