During the flight Joaquin Soler leaves the cabin and heads for a couple in first class who are really "into each other". It turns out that the woman is his ex-wife, Ester, and the man is his best friend, Cesar, who happens to be the lawyer who handled the divorce. Joaquin’s agitated state becomes clear as he accuses the couple of being traitors, thieves and rotten persons. From the way things are going there does not seem to be any alternative except some outside intervention. And that’s exactly what Manolo and Juan Luis do by convincing the pilot that there is not a woman in the world, not even his ex-wife, worth sacrificing human life for. And to prove their point, each one of them tells Joaquin a story about bad experiences involving their ex-wives
