12 older people with an intense zest for life are facing the most exciting, funny and bosom experience in their life: to form a choir and give a concert before thousands of persons. “Golden Oldies”, is a positive and optimist program to enjoy in times of crisis.

"Golden Oldies" is an entertaining reality show in which a choir conductor should “recruit” 12 persons over 65 to teach them to sing. The conductor will have only 8 weeks to convert the 12 persons in a choir of great rock and modern music singers. In the end, the choir will have to perform in a beneficial concert before thousands persons.

Throughout all these eight weeks, besides counting on the aid of the choir conductor, they will also receive ballet classes and training by choreographs and professionals from the world of various styles songs. The goal does not limit exclusively to this training for the concert, but we will see them taking part in hip-hop video clips, perform in the opening of rock bands concerts, or even record de chorus of a punk group.

For two months, we will watch how intensely our older persons live such experience, their joys, fears, emotions... that is their zest for life and for surpassing themselves; we can also see children or grandsons’ reactions to the change in the life of their parents and grandparents who will come to be rock stars.
