A 90 minute primetime format that combines a contest with a hidden camera. During the program, certain members of the studio audience are surprised to learn that they are part of the program without having known it. These unknowing "stars" are just ordinary people who, going about their everyday business, have answered questions or risen to a situation provoked by a believable stranger... 

"La noche de los tramposos" uses the tried and true hidden camera technique in a new original and entertaining way so that the contestant does not know that he or she is a contestant and as the victim, for the first time in front of the camera, is compensated for facing up to an unexpected situation that turns them into the main character on a television show.
